The MADE IN THE 216 event is a shopping/party extravaganza created by ROOM SERVICE (RS) Owner, Danielle DeBoe to highlight and give props to the many talented artists/designers/musicians/
Where is Made in the 216???
Ground zero for this event will be at Room Service located at 6505 Detroit Avenue (at W. 65th) in the up & coming Detroit Shore way neighborhood. Because this event has proven to be way too much fun for 600 sq. feet, my girl Danielle is taking over 2 additional storefronts and setting up shop outside as well!
Why you should show your face in the place???
As if supporting local talent and my presence weren’t motivation enough…here’s what’s up.
*The clothes & accessories: fun Cleveland themed t-shirts, men’s & women’s apparel, kids apparel, jewelry, bags, cards, books, home furnishings & other art ALL designed by follow Clevelanders.
*The music: there will be 10 local bands playing throughout the day and into the night (at the Happy Dog). If you miss your favorite band, don’t worry!! Danielle has set up a listening station of all local music. So take a listen and BUY a CD and some gear…support Cleveland music!!
*The food and drink: There will be the EAT in the 216 Bake Shop (this is where we come in). Local independent caterers and bakers will feature sweet and savory treats, artisan breads and other delicies. Oh…and did I mention this event is sponsored by PABST. PBR me ASAP!! Don’t fret winos; you’ll get yours too.
This event gets people out and about supporting cool stuff in a cool city. Hope to see you at

Friday JUNE 26 from 4-9pm & Saturday JUNE 27 from 11-9
